The content description that follows is not intended as a curriculum development or study guide, but rather models the range of challenges that will be met in the actual practice of medicine. It provides a flexible structure for test construction that can readily accommodate new topics, emerging content domains, and shifts in emphasis. The categorizations and content coverage are subject to change. Successful completion of at least one year of postgraduate training in a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the American Osteopathic Association should be helpful preparation for Step 3.

The expected outcome of the USMLE process is a general unrestricted license to practice medicine without supervision. Step 3 is the final examination in the USMLE sequence. The test items and cases reflect the clinical situations that a general, as-yet undifferentiated physician might encounter within the context of a specific setting.

You do not have specialty-oriented hospital privileges, but you may request any specialty consultation. Laboratory values provided in the USMLE Step 3 Sample Test Questions booklet are the normal ranges for this hospital.

* Percentages are subject to change at any time.** The general principles category for the Step 3 MCQ examination includes test items concerning normal processes not limited to specific organ systems.

An additional organizing construct for Step 3 design is physician tasks and competencies. Each test question is constructed to assess one of the competencies listed in Table 3. More information about the physician task and competencies outline is available.

In this article, I'll tell you where to find all official, printable SAT practice tests and answer keys. This comprehensive guide gives you access to more SAT practice tests than any other online guide. In addition, you'll learn key strategies that'll help you make big improvements on SAT practice tests you can print out.

In January 2021, the College Board announced that, after the June 2021 test date, they would no longer be offering the SAT Essay. The essay was previously an optional part of the SAT, and many students already chose not to take it. However, taking the SAT Essay will now no longer be an option. The only possible way to take the SAT Essay is during an SAT School Day. And even in these cases, your school has to choose to include the essay, and we expect many of them won't.

Currently, there are 8 available practice tests for the redesigned SAT, all of which have been provided by the maker of the SAT itself, the College Board. These tests are the absolute best ones to use for your SAT studies since they're the most similar to the test.

You probably noticed that Practice Test 2 and Practice Test 4 are missing from the section above. That's because the College Board has removed them from their list of officially available practice tests.

These next tests follow the old 2400 format of the SAT, with separate Critical Reading, Math, and Writing sections. (By contrast, on the current SAT, your Reading and Writing scores are combined for a total Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score.)

Despite their somewhat out-of-date structure, these tests can be useful for your studying. Just keep in mind all the major differences between the old and current SAT. I recommend using these tests more as training sessions than as full-on practice for the SAT.

It might look as though I've skipped a few years here, but I actually haven't: all the tests for the years not listed are repeats of those above, including the 2011-12, 2010-11, 2009-10, 2008-09, 2006-07, and 2005-06 practice tests. So if you find these tests on other forums or websites, don't waste your time taking them since they're the exact same as the ones already listed.

As a result, these very old SAT practice tests are a hidden gold mine that few students know of. By taking these tests, then, you'll have that much more of an edge over other test takers.

Also, make sure you do your scratch work directly on the test. Don't get out separate pieces of scratch paper to use since on the actual test you won't get any scratch paper (but will be allowed to take notes directly in your test booklet).

The SAT is a marathon of a test, lasting around three hours on an early Saturday morning. Many of my students have told me how difficult it was to stay focused the entire time and keep themselves from making careless mistakes at the end.

Preparing for the SAT is like training for a marathon: you need to ensure you have enough stamina to make it through the test. And the best way to do this is to take each practice test in one sitting, as if you were taking the actual SAT.

For every practice SAT test you take, spend time reviewing both questions you got wrong and questions you got right. If you don't know why you missed a question, don't just skip it and move on; doing this means you won't learn what kind of mistake you made, which increases your risk of making it over and over again. This habit can affect your score pretty drastically.

So make sure to approach your SAT prep with this in mind: quality over quantity. I'd rather have you take three practice tests with detailed review than six practice tests with no review.

But most students need additional help to pinpoint their weaknesses and teach them the skills and strategies needed for success on the SAT. If practice tests aren't enough for you, download our free guide to help you figure out which SAT prep method works best for you.

This CDL general knowledge practice test covers topics such as the rules of having a CDL, how to drive a commercial vehicle safely, and how to safely transport your cargo. It will help you determine if you are prepared for the general knowledge exam and which parts of the CDL manual you need to review.

You must take this test if your vehicle, or a vehicle you are required to drive for your job, has air brakes. For the exam, you must know the parts of a single and dual air brake system as well as how to inspect and use them. This test can be taken by Class A, B, and C license holders.

The combination endorsement covers the information you need for driving all combination vehicles, such as tractor-trailers, straight truck with trailers, doubles, and triples. This combination vehicles practice test covers how to drive combinations safely, handling combination air brakes, and more.

The tanker vehicles test is for individuals who will be hauling liquid or gaseous materials in tanks. Hauling a tank or tanks require a tanker endorsement if a tank has an individual rating of over 119 gallons or a combined capacity of 1,000 or more gallons.

This pre-trip inspection practice test will prepare you for the internal and external portions of the vehicle inspection exam, where you will be expected to be able to walk around your vehicle, touch items, and explain to an examiner why items must be inspected before a trip.

Think of this as your own CDL study guide for each endorsement. Every practice test has multiple-choice questions in the same format you'll find on your state's CDL test. These questions are phrased like the ones on your state's official knowledge test. Most of the questions come with a hint to help you choose the right answer. Each correct answer comes with an explanation that has been carefully written to help you become more familiar with the topic of the question. We want you to be able to answer questions on those topics correctly even if they are worded a bit differently. Please read each explanation; it is based on your state's CDL manual and DMV/DOT website.

This practice exam covers a wide range of topics that you'll need to know about to pass your CDL knowledge test and enter the trucking industry. These topics include aggressive drivers, braking techniques, cargo safety, distracted drivers, drunk driving laws, emergency preparedness, road and weather conditions, and safe backing.

No, we certainly did not forget about air brakes, combination vehicles, or hazardous materials! These topics are complex enough to deserve separate treatment. Just as states typically require you to pass specialized knowledge tests on those topics, we offer our own specialized practice tests on air brakes, combination vehicles, and hazardous materials. By studying our CDL practice tests, you'll be on your way to obtaining your Class A CDL, Class B CDL, or Class C CDL license. Remember that you'll also need to fill out the Medical History portion of the MER form (MCSA-5875) and also obtain a copy of the Medical Examiner Certificate form (MCSA-5876).

We recommend that you keep taking the test until you become fully comfortable with the subject matter and receive a score high enough to boost your confidence about your upcoming CDL exam. A high score will bring you closer to passing your CDL knowledge test, so practice as many times as you'd like. There are no fees, and you won't even have to register.
